DJ Copycat is the pseudonym of Ben Wilson when  he DJs at events. Born in London in April 1973, he moved to Cornwall in September 2006. With an encyclopaedic knowledge of popular music, Ben worked at MTV Europe in London between April 1996 and December 1997.

Having had a variety of jobs, Ben felt more comfortable as a DJ and, when he wasn't working, DJed in his bedroom as a hobby. Ben decided to make his hobby a profession and took on the pseudonym in January 2014. He hasn't looked back since.
